1981-89 – Dave Kibel

David and I were both originally from Bulawayo and we were friends and neighbours from a very early age. He was classically-trained in piano and bassoon and I was always in awe of his ability to sit down at his keyboard or piano and create the most beautiful melodic tunes and improvisations. Between 1981 and 1983, we would spend many hours in my living room with the tape recorder running and collaborating on his ever-expanding horizon of music compositions.

Here are some of the many tunes Dave & I worked on. As we didn't have a drummer, we relied on a metronome or drum machine.
