After many years of playing in different bands and musical projects, BONE-YARD has become one of my current bands and a chance for me to get back to what I have always enjoyed most — playing bass in a live rock band.
BONE-YARD is a Toronto-based classic rock cover band performing songs from some of the greatest periods in rock music. Our repertoire draws heavily on the music we grew up listening to, while also including songs from later generations of rock.
For me, BONE-YARD brings together many of the things I have enjoyed throughout my musical life. There is something very different about playing live with a band — locking in with the drummer, supporting the guitars and vocals, and feeling the energy that develops between the musicians and the audience.
Over the years the lineup has evolved, and the band has grown into a strong live act with guitar, bass, drums, vocals and keyboards. We concentrate on songs that work well in front of an audience rather than simply trying to reproduce the original recordings note for note. The objective has always been to capture the spirit and energy of the music and, above all, make it enjoyable.
After playing bass for most of my life, I still get the same satisfaction from standing on a stage with a band and feeling everything come together. BONE-YARD has allowed me to continue doing that and to share the music that has been such an important part of my life.
It is another chapter in a musical journey that began when I first picked up a bass guitar as a teenager — and, fortunately, the journey isn't over yet.

Today, BONE-YARD continues to perform around the Toronto area, playing the classic rock songs we love for audiences who still love hearing them.
